Bec & Bridge Anemone Bustier Top

This was one of my favourite pieces in the last Bec & Bridge collection but unfortunately I couldn’t justify purchasing it full price given that I’d already bought the Kathy Body Dress at $250 and one of the Sabine Camis  at $130.

Fortunately enough I saw it appear on eBay two weeks ago for $65 which (if memory serves) is 50 per of the original price.  Naturally I snapped it up quickly.

It arrived in the post two days ago and I’m in love.  I was actually quite surprised by how well it fit me.  And the print is just gorgeous in person.

Ellery Silk Bustier

When I saw this cropped Ellery bustier on eBay I fell in love.  It’s so beautiful!

Most unfortunately, it doesn’t fit me.

This is the danger in shopping on eBay.  Sometimes things just don’t fit you.  If you’re ever concerned about the fit of a garment, you can always ask the seller to measure the bust, waist and hips and compare against your own measurements.  I find this is the best way to know whether it will fit you or not.

In this case, I made a rookie error and just assumed that it is a standard 8.  It’s not.  It’s a lot closer to a 6.

So back up on eBay it goes.  If anyone is interested, here’s the listing.

Nicholas Jasmine Bustier Dress

I have no idea how much this dress was originally but judging on the prices of their other clothes, I can only imagine how expensive this might have been.

I paid $20 for this dress and the tags are still on it.  Brand new and never been worn.  A pretty good deal if you ask me.
