Common Spelling Errors

Further to my post Tricks To Finding A Bargain I thought I’d post some of the more common spelling errors on eBay that will help you find clothes at great prices.

Zimmermann – quite often misspelt as Zimmerman or Zimermann. There are about 100 listings using the version with one n and about five to ten using the version with one m.

Alice McCall – Alice Mcall is a variation I’ve often seen.

Camilla & Marc – I often see Camila & Marc and once or twice I’ve seen Camilla & Mark.

Wheels & Dollbaby – For some reason sellers often type Dollbaby as two words, Wheels & Doll Baby.

Maurie & Eve – This is not as common as the others but there’s usually one or two listings under Mauri & Eve .

Sass & Bide – As ubiquitous as I might think S&B is, I’ve still seen some sellers misspell it as Sass & Bid.

Bec & Bridge – There are two listings up at the moment under Bec & Bride.

Shakuhachi – I’ve seen this typed as Shakuhashi and Shakuhatchi.  I’m currently bidding on a skirt listed under Shakuhatchi, it’s sitting on $50. Bargain!

Lastly, this isn’t spelling error per se, but when searching for Fashion Bunker brands ie. Cameo, Keepsake, Finder’s Keepers and Senso, don’t proceed with “The Label.”  Although the name of the brand is Cameo The Label, many sellers don’t list it like that.  Just search for Cameo.  The same goes for Lover The Label and Staple The Label.
